Our compression therapy products were originally designed to be used in a hospital environment, and are still used today to treat post-surgical swelling, for example. After being used in hospitals for some time, the products were adopted by athletes and nursing homes. Nowadays, the customer base is broad, and the products are no longer seen as devices meant only for athletes.

OUR STORY
A REAL MUST-HAVE!
We are in Calella, a small municipality roughly 50 kilometres from Barcelona. It is the day after the Ironman race, and I’m sitting in the lobby of a hotel. The guy on the sofa next to me is wearing some sort of a strange device on his feet. We exchange a few words, and I muster up the courage to ask him permission to try the thing out.
I very quickly realise that I simply have to get one of these for myself as well.
That was the moment that the idea of starting to import pressure therapy devices and establish a brand of my own was born. We shot our first advertising videos the following summer in 2020, registered our trademark in the autumn, and before the year 2021 had drawn to a close, we had already created a visual concept for the brand and opened our new online store. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, so running this business has been a pleasure right from the start.
The man behind Cloudboots
Sports have been an important part of my life for 37 years and counting. Through the years, I have tried out many different sports, such as pesäpallo, the Finnish national sport reminiscent of baseball, floorball, golf and padel. Nowadays, I spend almost all my free time training for triathlons. Since first encountering the sport in 2016, I have completed five full-distance triathlons, and I am very passionate about increasing my skills. As my workouts got longer, more frequent and more intense, I have welcomed all the help I could get to help me recover more effectively. I use my very own Cloud8 ROGUE almost every day.
