Terms of use
Cloudboots products are sold by EV Lataus Oy (business ID: FI31009649). Cloudboots is a trademark and an auxiliary company name registered by EV Lataus Oy.
These terms and conditions are applied to all contracts between EV Lataus Oy and a consumer or a business concluded via the service provider’s (EV Lataus Oy) online store or otherwise by means of distance communication, such as by telephone or email.
These terms and conditions shall apply to all orders placed in EV Lataus Oy’s online store and shall enter into force on 1 January 2020. Read the terms and conditions carefully before placing an order in our online store. EV Lataus Oy reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at its sole discretion.

Ordering products from EV Lataus Oy
EV Lataus Oy’s products and services are available to all consumers who are legally capable of purchasing them and at least 18 years of age, as well as to businesses.
Delivery restrictions
At the moment, EV Lataus Oy’s products are available for delivery within Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Poland, The Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Cyprus
Payment and payment methods
The payment gateway service is implemented by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7). Paytrail Oyj also acts as the payment service provider in cooperation with several Finnish banks and other credit institutions.
Paytrail allows payments using the following payment providers and methods:
- Online bank payments using all domestic banks: Nordea, OP, Danske Bank, Savings Bank, Oma Savings Bank, POP Bank, Aktia, Handelsbanken, Bank of Åland and S-Bank.
- Invoice and partial payment services: Collector and Jousto.
- Card payments: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, American Express, Eurocard and Diners Club.
- Mobile payments: mobile payments can be made with the popular MobilePay and Siirto applications.
Paytrail Oyj appears as the payment recipient on the account statement or the credit or debit card bill and will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is a licensed payment institution.

Order and payment confirmation (confirmation of the concluded contract)
After a you have successfully placed an order, you will receive an order confirmation and a purchase receipt by email. The receipt also functions as a warranty receipt. If your order cannot be confirmed, we will notify you of this by email as soon as possible.
Product deliveries
The ordered products are delivered by a transport company of EV Lataus Oy’s choosing. Currently, our products are mainly delivered to automated parcel lockers (Finland). The parcel locker that your order will be delivered to is determined based on the delivery address provided in connection with the order. EV Lataus Oy reserves the right to choose the delivery method at its sole discretion.
In other countries than Finland, packages are delivered to your doorstep. We use Finnish Posti and service called Parcel Connect. More information in here; https://www.posti.fi/en/for-businesses/parcels-and-logistics/all-services/parcel-connect-parcel
The delivery is free. We strive to post products before 1 p.m. during the same day on weekdays. In this case, you may receive a notice of arrival from Posti the day after your order (Finland). If the delivery time does not correspond to the aforementioned timeframe, EV Lataus Oy will notify the customer of this by email. Delivery time to other countries varies from three to eight working days, depending on the country.
If the customer does not retrieve the ordered goods within the allotted time after the delivery and the product is returned to EV Lataus Oy, the order is considered to be cancelled by the customer. In this case, EV Lataus Oy is entitled to charge the customer a handling fee equivalent to the costs incurred through the delivery and return of the ordered product(s).
Delivery delays
If the delivery of the ordered product(s) is delayed beyond the agreed time of delivery, EV Lataus Oy will strive to inform the customer of this delay by contacting the customer using the contact information the customer has provided, and to provide the customer with a new estimated delivery time.
If the delivery of ordered products is delayed, consumers have the right to invoke the rights granted to them under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. EV Lataus Oy is not responsible for any delays in delivery caused by reasons attributable to the customer, or if the order cannot be delivered for similar reasons. The aforementioned provision is applied, for example, in the event that the customer has provided the service provider with incorrect contact information, neglected to inform the service provider of a change in the relevant contact information, or is not present or reachable at the time of attempted delivery.
Inspection of products and the customer’s duty of care
After the customer has received the products, they must inspect them without delay to ensure the delivered products are not defective and that all ordered products have been delivered.
If the customer notices that the delivered product is defective or that the product does not otherwise correspond to what has been agreed, they must notify EV Lataus Oy of this immediately. EV Lataus Oy is liable to consumers for any defects in the product in accordance with the mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act regarding liability for defects.
The customer must always read the instructions carefully before using the products and must follow the instructions, in addition to taking all necessary precautions when using the products.
Right to cancel the purchase within 14 days
According to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to withdraw from the contract, that is, cancel your purchase, within 14 days of the original transaction. This does not, however, apply to companies.
If you wish to cancel your purchase, you must return the purchased goods within 14 days of receiving information that the product is available for pickup. Upon request, the buyer is obliged to prove that the goods have been returned within the appropriate timeframe. This can be done, for example, by presenting a return receipt.
The buyer shall bear the cost of returning the goods. All our products can be normally returned by post.
The buyer must keep the received goods in an essentially unaltered and undiminished condition in order to retain their right to be fully compensated for the purchase price in the event of a withdrawal. The product must be returned to the seller unused and in its original packaging.
The notification of withdrawal must be submitted to EV Lataus Oy in writing. This can be done, for example, using the return form provided in connection with the delivery. Submit the form by email to ville@evlataus.fi. The notice of withdrawal must include at least the following information: your name, your postal address, and your order number. Keep the notice for further use. You may also submit the notice of withdrawal by post to our office. In this case, use the following address:

Refund of payment
EV Lataus Oy has the right to refrain from returning any payments until the delivered goods have been returned and found to be essentially unaltered. EV Lataus Oy will refund the price of the product within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
The price will be refunded using the payment method used for the original purchase. The refund does not cause any additional costs to the buyer.
- If you have paid for the purchase using an online banking service, for example, the price of the goods will be refunded to the bank account you originally used to make the payment. If you have paid for your order with a credit card, the price will be refunded to your credit card.
Warranty
We grant all Cloudboots products a warranty of two years.
The warranty covers all manufacturing defects or other defects detected in the product during the warranty period.
The seller undertakes, at their discretion, to either repair, exchange or refund products that are inspected and found to be affected by factors that significantly impair their usability. Exchanging a product or a part of a product does not extend the original warranty period.
The warranty does not cover defects that are deemed to have arisen as a result of:
- incorrect or careless use
- other external factors that have damaged the product.
Prices
Unless stated otherwise, all prices include the currently applicable VAT and delivery costs.
The prices listed in our online store are valid until further notice. EV Lataus Oy reserves to right to make changes to these prices at its sole discretion.
The order price is charged based on the prices that are valid at the time the order is placed. Before the contract is concluded, the customer is informed of the price of the products, delivery costs, and the total price including delivery costs and applicable taxes.
If the price listed on EV Lataus Oy’s website is obviously incorrect and the customer can be reasonably expected to understand this, EV Lataus Oy is not obliged to deliver the product at the listed, incorrect price. If the pricing is obviously incorrect and the price can be seen as exceptionally low considering the general level of prices, EV Lataus Oy reserves the right to correct the order price after the order has been placed. Availability of products
EV Lataus Oy always strives to provide up-to-date and correct information on all available products. We cannot, however, guarantee the complete accuracy of the information or the availability of the products, as they may be sold out.
In the event that the customer has ordered a product that is stated to be available but has been temporarily sold out during the confirmation of the concluded contract, causing the delivery to be delayed from the estimated time of delivery, EV Lataus strives to inform the customer of this without delay and to provide the customer with a new estimated delivery time.
If the ordered product is permanently unavailable, EV Lataus Oy undertakes to refund the price paid for the ordered product to the customer in full, and the contract regarding the product in question is considered cancelled.
Dispute resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved primarily by means of negotiation between the parties. However, consumers may, at their discretion, refer the dispute to be resolved by the Consumer Disputes Board. Before referring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advisory Services of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Agency.
